Introduction:
Taipei City Public Bicycle System (YouBike) has reached 400 stations as of 2017. To register as YouBike member, you only need to provide your mobile phone number and Easycard(or iPASS), you can get membership with no annual fee, which enjoy a discount of NT$5 for the first 30 minutes each rental and the first 30 minutes are free within 1 hour of transferring to MRT or Bus. You can also rent by credit card for a single rental, but the aforementioned discount are not applicable. In addition, from 2021 onwards, ALL NEW YouBike 2.0 with white-yellow matching and OBU, supporting Easycard(or iPASS) and QR code payment, will gradually increase to 1,200 stations to provide more convenient services.
